QR code generator
Paste a link or any text and download its QR code as a PNG or a vector SVG, ready for invoices, labels or posters. Static codes: they never expire and don’t track anyone.
Tips for a QR code that scans
- Keep the content short: the less text, the bigger the squares and the easier it is to scan. A short link beats a long one.
- Print it at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 in), and bigger if it will be read from a distance.
- Keep the white margin around it, with dark squares on a light background.
- Scan it with a couple of phones before printing a whole batch.
A different QR code in every document
In Documentemplate the QR block builds the code from a variable, so each invoice, ticket or certificate gets its own: a payment link, a tracking page or a verification address. Available on the Pro plan.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The code holds your text directly, with no redirect through any server, so it works as long as the content does (for a link, as long as the page exists).
Can I use them commercially?
Yes, on anything: packaging, invoices, flyers or menus. No watermark and no limit.
PNG or SVG?
SVG is vector: it stays sharp at any size and is best for print and design tools. PNG is an image that works everywhere; pick a large size if you will print it.
Do you store what I type?
No. The QR code is generated in your browser; the text never reaches us.
